On the recent Easter weekend, Westlake drivers Hong and Hung participated in the Drift Party organized by HKGSA, a two-day dry-surface drifting event, with 32 drivers competing individually. On the first day of the event, Hong achieved an impressive third place, deserving an applause for this accomplishment. However, later in the evening practice section, both drivers encountered problems with their cars. Fortunately, they managed to resolve the issues and were able to compete in the second day's race. In the elimination stage on the second day, Hong competed against Hung and successfully advanced, carrying the outstanding form from the first day into the top four. Unfortunately, Hong's car encountered problems again during the semi-final. Although a loaned vehicle was provided for Hong to continue racing, it was difficult for him to adapt to the new car without warm-up and within a short period of time. As a result, Hong exit in the semi-final. The Westlake drivers did not give up despite facing various difficulties and persisted in completing the race. Their spirit of sportsmanship and determination in overcoming challenges is worthy of respect.
